Conference Objectives:

• Discuss some of the central research findings on how children are impacted by domestic violence.
• Explain the importance of family-focused care for domestic violence assessment and intervention.
• Describe some of the key parenting challenges faced by survivors of domestic violence.
• Identify intervention strategies to support parents and children during the domestic violence crisis and in the aftermath of domestic violence.
