Dr. Perri Rosen, director of the Pennsylvania Garrett Lee Smith Youth Suicide Prevention grant, was interviewed by John Flynn, former Chief Information Officer for California and the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Mr. Flynn is host of Federal News Radio’s Ask the CIO: SLED Edition.
During the interview, Dr. Rosen discusses how BH-Works is used in schools to screen entire student populations, as well as individual students supported through the state’s Student Assistance Program (SAP). She also talks about common barriers to implementation, staff and student reactions, and the unexpected ways the counties have been able to leverage aggregate data to secure funding.
